"Solo Gallery Exhibit" by Aleathea Sapp Jimenez

Featuring Artist Aleathea Sapp Jimenez, a Brooklyn-based artist of African-Caribbean American descent. Aleathea creates vibrant and evocative portraits of real and imagined people against colorful and organic backgrounds. Her love of flowers and patterns is a common thread in the artwork. The flowers represent all that occurs naturally in our ever changing lives while the patterns reflects the decisions we make daily. Aleathea's artwork is her outlet—that which permits her to breathe.
