Nancy LaLanne

Nancy La Lanne is a Brooklyn-based Intimate Portrait Photographer whose work is centered in the liberation of one's self view through empowering imagery.

Nancy's selections for UNFOLDING were inspired by a trip to Neskowin, Oregon in 2022, where she saw dahlias in full bloom for the first time and imagined what it would be like to be a beautifully layered flower. Consequently, she commissioned local artist Gregory Corbino to create a life-sized dahlia for her human canvases to illustrate their individualized bloom. This is the beginning of many more blooms.
